Around the UK, almost every county has something to offer for everyone. You maybe  looking for somewhere close to a beach that your dog will love, or a secluded and romantic cottage for two – whatever your staycation style, you’ll want to scroll down for ideas.

What to bring on your Cottage Holiday?

If you are a Holiday Cottage or Staycation first timer then we can help you prepare.

Whether you are by the beach or in the country walking shoes or boots are essential.
Use your staycation as an opportunity to explore your surroundings with relaxing rambles. If you are an experienced walker then why not take one of the more  challenging hikes.

Remember that your staycation maybe in the middle of nowhere with the nearest shop being some distance away. We advise you to bring milk, bread, cooking oil, eggs and a bottle of wine.
This will at least get you through your first night. . You may want to bring supplies for the duration of your stay. It is worth checking out the local farm shops or visit a nearby supermarket once you get to your cottage break location.

When travelling with your dog, do not forget a travel dog bed and your four legged friends food. Phone chargers, toilet roll, a good umbrella, washing up liquid are also good essentials to pack.

Please remember you may be staying in someones holiday home so respect the Cottage and report any problems as soon as possible to your Staycation supplier.
